Restaurant Example
Order the venison. Ask for the corner table. Pretend you found it yourself.
Closed roughly May to early July. Dates vary; check before you go.
[Invented write-up.] A low wooden room at the quiet end of the village, run by the same family for long enough that nobody remembers it changing. The menu is short and seasonal, and the venison in autumn is the reason to come.
It is not cheap and it does not try to be clever. Service is warm once they've seen you twice. Book, because the eight tables fill with second-home owners who booked in August.
