- By train
- Usually the easiest. Change at the junction station; the last stretch climbs the valley and is worth a window seat.
- By car
- Fine in summer. In winter, carry chains and check the passes. Parking near the gondola fills by nine.
- From the airport
- Train all the way, with one or two changes. Allow most of a day; enjoy it.
Getting around
- Walking
- Platz to Dorf is a pleasant stroll in summer and a slippery one in winter.
- Buses
- Free with your guest card in season; reduced timetable in between.
- Taxis
- Few, and they know it. Book ahead for late dinners.
